My card
As a part of GPBank’s domestic debit card collection, My Card which is available in three categories: My Card Standard, My Card Gold and My Card Platinum is a domestic debit card product issued on the basis of customers’ VND deposits at GPBank, allowing customers to make transactions at Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and payments at Points of Sales (POSs), as well as other payment channels of GPBank and others in the card affiliates to which GPBank is a member.
  • My Card Standard: A universal card category with dynamic blue color for regular card users for the needs of daily consumption.
  • My Card Gold: With an elegant gold color for customers who regularly conduct large value transactions.
  • My Card Platinum: With a luxurious platinum color for customers who spend for premium services and large amounts.
Using GPBank’s My Card product, the primary cardholder has the highest authority over his/her account including setting a limit for the secondary card, viewing the secondary card transactions, locking and opening the card. The primary cardholder can get up to three secondary cards.

Student Cards
Student Card is a link between GPBank and our partners, being universities/colleges/intermediate schools in need of identification cards, student cards, boarding cards, etc. for their students/pupils.
Student Card is both a bank payment card and a Partner linking Card:
  • Bank payment card: Student Card has all the features of a domestic debit card, whose holder uses the balance on the deposit account opened with GPBank for payment of goods/services, cash withdrawal, and account transfer, etc. at ATMs/POSs of GPBank and those belonging to Banknetvn Card Alliance.

Gift Cards
Gift Card is a card product of GPBank, issued in the form of a prepaid card to the customer. The Customer is allowed to make transactions within the amount deposited in the card corresponding to the amount paid or prepaid by the customer or given. These cards can be issued in the form of prepaid or gift cards to GPBank’s customers or partners signing the Gift Card Issuance Contract with GPBank.
Gift Cards have either or both of the following functions:
  • Prepaid Cards: Depending on the GPBank’s regulations from time to time and/or the agreements signed with the Partners, Gift Cards are anonymous or identification cards issued on the card accounts. Gift Card accounts are prepaid once for anonymous prepaid cards and can be recharged repeatedly for identification prepaid cards. The cards have full or some features of domestic debit cards.
  • Partner linking cards used as gifts: The front of the card is designed by GPBank or at the request of partners in the contract signed with GPBank.

GPBank Vision Debit MasterCard (Vision Card) is an international debit card issued by GPBank on the basis of the holder’s deposit account with GPBank, allowing the holder to make transactions at Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and payments at Points of Sales (POSs), as well as other services provided by GPBank and MasterCard within and outside of Vietnam.
Vision Cards are issued by GPBank with the permission of the MasterCard International Card Organization, in accordance with the regulations governing issuance, use, and payment by MasterCard.

How to conduct a transaction on ATM
Step 1: Insert the card into the card reader in the direction of the arrow on the card.
Step 2: Select the transaction language (English or Vietnamese).
Step 3: Enter the PIN of the cardholder using the keypad. Select “Enter”. If you enter the PIN incorrectly, press the “Delete” key, enter the correct PIN and wait for the ATM to check your PIN.

  • A domestic debit card is a card attached to the customer’s current account opened with the bank. When used to purchase goods or services, the transaction amount will be immediately deducted from the cardholder’s account through electronic devices located in the relevant store or hotel. This card is also used to withdraw cash at an automated teller machine. It does not have a credit line because it depends on the outstanding balance on the cardholder’s account.

IV. Instruction for handling problems with ATMs

1. Should a GPBank cardholder let others use his/her card?
  • No.! In order to minimize the risks to your account, you should not give your cards to others. If your account is also used by another person, you may request to be issued a supplementary card.
2. If you enter the wrong PIN at GPBank’s ATMs, what will happen?I
  • If you incorrectly enter the PIN more than 3 times at GPBank's ATMs, your card will be swallowed by GPBank's ATMs. Then you must come to the nearest branch/transaction office for help: to get back your card and reissue the PIN.
3. When your transaction is completed at the ATMs if you do not withdraw the card from the card acceptance slot, what will happen?
  • After 30 seconds, your card will be swallowed by the ATMs if you do not remove the card from the card acceptance slot after completing the transaction. That will help reduce your risks when dealing.
4. How do I get my card back at the GPBank's ATMs?
  • You can get the retained card back by contacting GPBank's Call Center at 1800 58 58 66 or the nearest GPBank’s branch/transaction office for detailed instructions on how to get the card back.
5. What should I do if my card is swallowed by another bank’s ATMs?

6. What should I note when making ATM withdrawals?
When making a withdrawal, you should note that the card may be returned before paying money or vice versa. You pay attention to the card and money soon to avoid your card being retained by the ATMs;
  • Taking your receipt soon even if you cannot withdraw money and should keep transaction receipts for easy inspection when required;
  • Contacting GPBank immediately when the machine pays insufficient money, or there is a difference in transaction amount;
  • You are advised to select "Current account" when trading at GPBank’s ATMs and "Deposit account" when trading at Dong A Bank’s ATMs. At ATMs with default accounts, you select "Default Account" for the transaction.
7. What should I do when I lose my card?
  • When you lose your card or suspect your card to be abused, you should immediately notify GPBank at 1800 58 58 66 to have your card temporarily blocked;
  • After announcing to block your card temporarily, you need to go to GPBank's branch/ transaction office to fill out an application for card replacement or card lockout (GPBank’s form). You will be responsible for paying all transactions made in the period before the bank receives your written notice of card loss;
  • When you find the lost card and have been reissued, you need to return the card to GPBank to cancel the card.
8. If you withdraw VND 300,000 at GPBank’s ATMs (or another bank’s), you have received the notice of deduction but only VND 200,000, what will you do?
  • You can go to the nearest GPBank’s branch/transaction office to make inquiries. If checked properly, you will be refunded to the account and notified by telephone (in case you do not register SMS Banking service).
V. Information on security and PIN when logging in for transaction

1. What is a PIN?
  • A PIN is a 6-digit personal identification number of your choice used to withdraw cash at ATMs or conduct other transactions (fund transfer, balance inquiries, account statements, etc.)
  • a PIN change is required for the first time of using a card. You should change your PIN as soon as you receive your card. If you do not change your activation PIN, you should keep the PIN provided by the bank for use as this PIN is unique.
  • At present, you can change your PIN at ATMs/POS of GPBank and at ATMs of Techombank, Vietcombank, Tien Phong bank, and Bao Viet Bank.
  • When choosing a PIN, it is recommended to avoid easy-to identify numbers such as date of birth, ID card/passport number, telephone number, etc.
2. When receiving the card, will you receive the PIN attached to the card?
  • GPBank issues the PIN with the card, you may change the PIN at ATMs / POS of GPBank and ATMs of Techombank, Vietcombank, TienPhongBank, BaoVietBank.
3. What do you do when you forget your PIN?
  • In case you forget the PIN, call the Call Center at 1800 58 58 66 or contact the GPBank’s nearest branch / transaction office to be guided to apply for PIN re-issuance, and the reissuance fee is VND 10,000VND (excluded VAT)
4. In which cases may my GPBank card be withheld by or forced to be returned to the bank?
GPBank will withhold your GPBank debit card in one of the following cases:
  • You hold a counterfeit Card;
  • You fail to prove yourself as the cardholder;
  • You violate the Terms and Conditions of GPBank Domestic Debit Card Use.
5. What should be taken care of to protect the card?
  • Do not allow the card to bend, curl or put the card near magnetic objects such as cell phones, magnets, etc.;
  • Do not give the card to another person;
  • Do not disclose your card number and PIN to others;
  • Do not put the card in the same place with the PIN;
  • Immediately contact GPBank at 1800 58 58 66 in the event of a stolen or misplaced card, or disclosed PIN or suspected unauthorized use of the card for locking your card to secure your account.
